Interlocking 3/6 piece "knots"
Over spring break of 2017, I was interested in experimenting with 3D printing/ modeling with Rhino 5 (I have 3D printed before, but with Solidworks). In doing so, I was inspired by the physical puzzles I enjoyed as a child. Over the five days of continuously printing on Makerbots, I learned about tolerances, PLA surface finishes, printing with different filaments, and was pleasantly supprised with the intricate patterns that the infill can exhibit through semi-transparent filament.
